Bimmian side turn signal

Well today i recevied my bimmian LED turn signal's in the mail and i attepted to put them in but the fittment is off. They do not fit flush with the side fender. now im wondering if anybody else is having this problem or had this problem what did they do to fix it? I did check and yes i ordered the right ones.

The only thing i can thing of for a fix is to loosen up the wheel well and slide my hand in and press from the back until it sits flush but i dont ever want to have to replace them bec then it would probably be a pain the ass to get them off.

If anybody has any advice it would be nice.
Thanks

This has always been the knock on the side LED. If you do a search, you will see some DIY fixes.

The HPB replacements are a great choice as they fit right into the stock housing. See link in sig.

The problem is that the rectangular housing at the rear of the lamp that protrudes into the fender slot is slightly oversize, and hangs up in the slot in the fender in one area.

All I did was used a small flat Swiss needle file and filed down the appropriate sides of the lamp housing that protrudes into the fender slot and they fit perfectly flush.

Guess you could also file the fender slot slightly bigger - but I wasn't gonna take a file to a fender on a 40K car - so I chose to file the cheap plastic aftermarket lamp...
