Cobb out...Procede in...
So for testing purposes I removed my Cobb, and put in a Procede v5 tonight. Tomorrow I will be heading to the track to see what the change did to my performance. On the Cobb I ran four 12.44's all at 111mph (across a temperature spread of 15deg). Since it was so consistent I will know that any change to that time I see tomorrow night will be directly related to the Procede.
If the Procede yields better 1/4mi times, I will follow up with a trip to Cobb's dyno. I put down 334hp/394tq on the Cobb... You have 24hr's to place your bets on what will happen |

I'm not getting rid of the Cobb...I'll keep it till they release ATR and I'll have them pro-tune my car then sell the Procede (if Cobb's professional tune makes more power than the Procede). |

you should plug the procede into your computer and either upgrade the maps or change the boost numbers a little higher, that's where you'll really see a difference.
out of the box, i think the enthusiast only has map 1 with boost set to around 13.5 psi, which doesn't take advantage of all the boltons on your car. you'd definitely be ok bumping it up |

Its going to be close to 100 in Dallas tomorrow, again. Depending on your boost, the Procede might lower your boost slightly (because of the heat) while the Cobb might raise it (because of it). This might turn into a debate of the merits of safety vs consistency. |

Turn boost up to 20psi and run ms109...with a good launch you should be in 11s if you're 6AT..more boost, more power, higher trap speed...don't run autotune at the track unless you'll run pump gas...on race gas you have full freedom to go up to 20psi, all out, you have downpipes and the FMIC, you'll be just fine

The factory settings for max boost on map one are pretty low. just wanted to give you a heads up, you'll have more fun either buying the procede cable or buying a beer for someone local who has it.

100 oct shell in europe = 94 oct in the US. Don't go beyond 16psi without meth.

I think that unless you can verify same peak boost level, your test will not prove anything at all. I have seen a few logs that show Cobb pushing very high boost levels. As someone already mentioned, I believe Cobb targets load, not boost, and proceed trims boost when IAT are high. On a hod day, Cobb may actually increase boost while proceed lowers it. THis could matter a lot from a safety perspective, so be ready to put your flame suit on when you post your results if you don't have datalogs and a record of boost levels from your two runs.

My god so many idiots.
OP, assuming the Procede is run in the same conditions as the AP stage 1, all things equal, you will run far worse with the Procede on default map settings. I suspect about 2-3 mph slower. Same goes for the jb4, but surprisingly not the jb3. There is a reason behind why people claim the jb3 feels faster and it's not placebo.
