VIDEO: Active Autowerke BOV

So I posted a vid a while ago with the GreddyRS BOV setup. I decided to to upgrade to the AA setup.

I really liked the Greddy sound but IMO the AA is even better (if you like BOVs)

Shoot me a response to the PM when you get a chance.

That sounds a lot like a tial, I like it. BTW, your car looks really good.

JP, is your car stock or does it have a piggyback? I only ask because that BOV seemed really loud.

Car sounds awesome. I agree with boostedbmw, it does sound a lot like tial. The BOV was really loud considering how low of a rpm you were shifting at time.

Really my only original motivation to switch to the AA is I have always like their BMW products and I thought the look of their BOV kit fit the car more than my Greddy setup. The Greddy was clean and it sounded good so no real complaints. Although honestly after I hooked up the AA I liked the sound much better than the Greddy.

Yeah... I did pay the $600 + overnight shipping because I'm impatient as hell.

I know there has been a lot of debate about the AA price and there is no doubt... it's not the cheapest solution out there, but if you are a fan of BOVs and want 0 sacrifice on quality, looks and sound, it is worth every penny.

It's easy to install but you do have to remove several things to get it in there. took me about 30 minutes.

Let me know if you have any questions when you get to that point.
