Replacing one tire?

Hey everyone, I developed a crack in one of my rear rims, so while the rim was being repaired, we noticed the tire had a bubble on the inside of the sidewall. decided it was best to replace it. Now the guy from the tire place doesn't think I need to replace the other side, I just want to confirm that.

I think the variance between the two is about half of lincoln's head. Not sure how much that translates to. I have almost 20k miles on the tires. So should I replace the other rear? It's a 335i

I would, someone else will probably chime in on more detail why. But for better performance and safety reasons... get 2 new tires especially if you have 20k on the other.

I'd agree unless there is more than 6/32" tread remaining. If you don't, you will constantly have mismatched rear tires as you contimue to replace one at a time as they wear out.

maybe I'll just replace it then. The wear issue doesn't bother me, I will probably sell these wheels this winter as I'm feening for something new. I just dont want it to cause issues with my diff/abs/etc. Although I did figure if even one tire is less inflated than the other, then its essentially the same thing.

Thanks guys

With 20k on them, I'd get two new tires.
