Car runs fine but has 65k on it and 20k the newest plugs...all of that 20k the car was tuned. Is it time for a new set??

Anyway, my car is at 65k. It got new plugs at 45k. And I have had it tuned for the last 18k or so. Wondering how often you guys swap plugs??

20k if tuned is good for a change, they're $60 and you can do them your self, its worth it.

Definitely worth pulling one out and checking it.
Changed mine at 55k and again just a month ago at 81k. (mostly heavy fwy commuting). It's been tuned since 7k. At 55k, they were light/medium tan when changed out for new ones; at 81k, the plugs were dark walnut brown and way overdue. Car runs WAAAY better with a new set. |

I would change, it's amazing how much better the car runs on a new set of plugs... especially above 12 or 13psi

Might as well go ahead and change them. As others have said it costs $60 and makes the car run smoother. If you need the tool check out here:
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...17=00930875000 You can't use a regular 12pt 14mm, gotta get a thin-walled one.
