Bilstein B16 Pss10 On 2011 E93 335i
Thinking of installing pss10 on the 335, but due to the road condition in china, sometimes it is bumpy and with big speed bumps, and I am afraiding to scratching the car. Just want to know, if i set the pss10 at the highest level, how much of difference with the stock height?

Highest setting on the Bilsteins will still be lower than OEM height.

The highest on PSS10 is about .5" lower than ZSP suspension. That's just an estimate.....

Highest on PSS10 is 1" lower than stock up front. The rears have plenty of adjustment upwards.

That looks right on the highest setting up front. My sedan is about the same. The rears are tucked when properly corner weighted.

I'm driving the B16 Ride Control (similar to the PSS10) and am not totally satisfied with it. The height adjustability is simply non-existing, as even in the highest setting it is still extremely low (borderline even for me). I've added the bad roads package in the front, but now the problem is that I'm maxed out on the rear axle and even though the front could go higher, the rear would drop further and that would look really crap. Some friends of mine have had the same problem and it seems to be linked to the fact that Bilstein uses the same springs for all E9x, although their weight can differ considerably. The 335i are among the heaviest (in particular the E91 and E93) of the 3 series, which contributes to the reduced height adjustability. Furthermore, I've had some clunking noises from the start (bought the coilover used) and had the dampers revalved at Bilstein. After a few thousand miles, the same noise started again, which is rather annoying on such a high-end suspension. Also, even in the comfort setting they're really stiff and bouncy in particular over sharp ridges in the road or short bumps, but on the track still a bit too wobbly for my taste. I've driven a friend's PSS10 on the stiffest settings and it was much firmer on the track. I'll probably throw it out in a few months and get something else - I really need something a little higher (and if it's only 1-2 cm), as I use the car as a daily driver and now have to fear every speed bump and subterranean parking entrance (scrape-scrape-scrape). ^ I just ordered the PSS10 and this makes me nervous. I've seen conversion kits to use swift springs with the PSS10's albeit only for Porsche. I wonder if anyone has them for BMW as well.
P.S. What's the "bad roads package"? |

What does corner weighted/balance have to do with rear wheels being tucked? I think that's irrelevant as the tuck/poke has to do with wheel widths and offsets, no?

I just got mine delivered to me just an hour ago and now I'm nervous to install them after reading what Alpina_B3_Lux said. I hope they sit a little higher with e92 coupes.

I have absolutely no issues with mine, in contrast. They're a little soft for a hardcore track car. But for a DD they are great.

Agreed 100%. These are not for hardcore track guys. I go the track maybe 6 times a year but it's also my DD so these were perfect for me. If I could go back I would buy them again. Great product.

225M 19's. And yes, fronts could maybe go up just a tad more if you went to the very top of the threads but it wouldn't really even be a noticeable difference.
