Glad you asked, I'm looking into this as well. i figure I'll start out 50/50, but will give VP M1 and denatured alcohol a try. It seems like both of those are used interchangeably. Basically whichever is cheaper and available in your area. If I go to the strip I might try to run the tank down and then mix in a 80/20 then when I leave the strip dilute it with more distilled water to bring it back to about 50/50

what type of meth are you using? Where did you get it? Reason I ask is that I hear you should get something as pure as possible such as the M1 or denatured alky. This way you aren't getting something that has additives.

I think the m3 and m5 has additives. Whether they should be used or not I'm unsure, but I don't think many use it. I believe you should mix with distilled water.

Yeah I mix my M1 with distilled water. I know the M3 and M5 have nitro in it and I didn't know if somebody was brave enough to try it or would it just be a waste of money.

What about for just daily driving? Shiv recommended boost juice (50/50 mix) so i picked up a 4 gallon pack of that, but if there is a more potent (and safe) mix i may try that. Thanks.

I'm about 75/25. I use VP M1 and also have boost juice around to cut it down to the right percentage. Last time I ordered boost juice, the most reasonable shipping was at the Summit Racing web site. I pick up 5 gal VP M1 locally and there is also a Shell Racing Fuel station that has 5 gal cans of World Wide Racing 100% meth.
FYI - VP Racing fuels explicitly says to not use M3 or M5 in methanol injection kits. It's for cars that run methanol as the primary fuel. |

It might just be in my head but it seems like the car is a little bit faster using my own mix. |

I do know that it is a lot more expensive. I think M3 was double the price of M1 and M5 was even more than that. |

For daily driving I wouldn't do anything more than 50/50 just from a safety prospective. You get hit and the tank gets ruptured you might be thankful that you aren't running a high concentration of meth. Boost juice takes the thought out of doing your own mixing. I'm probably going to start out with a couple of gallons to make sure the system is working right then go to mixing.
