[Martin 335d]

Yeah ive done it again, we were looking for another car and Clare wanted an A3/A4, i on the other hand had other ideas, and did a deal on this without her knowing.

I picked it up a fortnight ago, through a contact in the trade, at a VERY good price but in average condition, as its been lady driven in central London for 4 years and it came with the usual kerbed wheels, marks, dents etc

I still regretted selling my black one, and everytime i seen it on the road it upset me, the 330d was good but not the same, so when this came up i couldnt pass it up, as the spec/colour combo were perfect

However i took i to GTI International, where it perfomed impeccably, ran it on the Sprint both days and won the diesel class on the Saturday, it actually turned out to be the quickest of the 4 local cars that ran the sprint at the weekend, Not bad for a standard Auto diesel estate.

Anyway its been having its issues sorted this week and i picked up some wheels and a plate for it too, its still not cleaned properly, thats tomorrows job, next weekend its tints and a remap

Black grilles and darkline lights mate, will set it off a treat with the black rails and tints.

Cheers folks, I'm very happy with how it's turned out, I have some 12mm spacers that I might fit to the rear on Tuesday when I'm back at work

Darklines have been thought about and I'm going to order some, it really needs a proper clean, hopefully the weather is nice on Monday and I'll do it then

Needs a thermostat, as it's running cool so I ordered an EGR stat today, so I'll get that done on tuesday too to see if it cures the issue

Cheers folks, I'm rather happy with it now, I'll be even happier once it's remapped on Saturday

The wheels are copies I got locally, they may be the same as the BM Autosport ones but I couldn't be 100% certain

Its been quite a busy and eventful week for the 335 this week,

Last night my fiance parked in Asda to get some odds/ends, on returning to the car there was an Audi (S4 she thinks)parked beside it, and the driver got out to ask her about the car, good job she is switched on car wise.

The duff EGR stat has been replaced and normal operating temps are back, now a constand 86-88 degrees

Window tints were done today, medium from the B pillar back, light on the front, looks lots better, but no pics as it was raining when i picked the car up

Remap has been done too, i genuinely forgot how rapid these are once mapped, i utterly love the car now.

Im going to order the darklines and new floormats on monday
