Proceed User Parameter Question (Ignition correction)

Can someone explain what the V5's ignition correction setting does? It defaults to 100%.

Thats just a starting point. If you are using DIC maps, that value is dialed in by autotuning. Just give your car time to adapt you will notice the change over time. I am FBO so I changed it to start at 50%. But if I left it default, it would eventually get dialed to same value in the end.

As for the what and How, I am not qualified enough to narate that.

I was under the impression that autotuning was still disabled even in the latest 6-14 DIC maps.

You could say there's a slight autotuning reaction with DIC but only during each WOT pass... doesn't carry over... this is my semi-understanding. Not exactly sure how DIC works, but it's in conjunction with the DME timing targets... working together instead of a defined curve. i hope we do get more info on this when the custom tuning is released.
