Bilstein shocks cleaning/removing rust
I bought a used shocks there are some rust on them, how do I clean/remove the rust?
I would prefer to get rid of the rust if I can before installing it to my car.

If there's rust on the shaft of the shock, like the part that is covered by the boot cover, then you shouldn't use them.
Otherwise, use PB blaster or wd-40 and a wire brush. |
