P3Cars still around?

Hi Guys,

Anyone know if this company is still in business? Ordered the gauge from them in April and stopped getting any responses over a month ago, after being promised a shipping number a week later.

Thanks!

Yes I got my gauge about 2-3 weeks ago. Ordered on April 26th.

The guy keeps constantly hiding and unhiding the main FS thread. Kinda sucks when it's hidden because it has all the instructions for the install. Had to figure out everything on my own.

The thread isn't deleted, it's "hidden". Here it is.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=466515

You can search through his history and see the posts in that thread
http://www.e90post.com/forums/search...nduser&u=14097

2-3 posts down you can see that he says he'll close the preorder when he runs out of parts.

I placed my order April 20th.

No response via email or his support website, his phone number provided in Google Checkout does not seem to work.

I messaged him here on the forum. Response time was less than a day. He provided a status update as well as tracking. Ordered end of April. Received my gauge 2 weeks ago.

Still here... sorry, we have pulled back on our forum presence to try and get caught up on development and orders. As soon as we are all caught up I'll get back on top of the forums and the p3cars.com site will have all the bmw order stuff on the front pages.

We closed the pre-order threads (as I mentioned I would do) because we are out of parts for a few more weeks.

Thanks for the understanding guys, it's been rough for me. E-mail support@p3cars.com to create a support ticket if you need info. I think there are about 10 outstanding orders at this point... so we are almost all caught up...

How about 9 months......that's how long mine took. The product is good, but be wary of what they promise.

I ordered mine last september and the only reason i got it in March was because i told him i didn't care that only the boost was working on the 2007 cars! So, here i still wait for full functionality of the gauge i bought! Ughhhhh

This thread is somewhat misleading... I know the wait time on the pre-order was long, and everyone hung in there with me and I am thankful for that, but its a different story now!

We ship them within 2-10 days. Maybe a week longer if I run out of a part, but we would let people know first. I even shipped a gauge with same day shipping a few weeks ago... just depends on the timing of when parts are built up. Ask anyone who ordered within the last month or so.

People waited long before because it was a pre-order... we were working on actually producing the product for the FIRST time back then.

the product is in production now, the current wait is only because we build them to order.

The only unshipped orders at this point came in just a few days ago and they will be going out in the next 2 days.

Thanks for the support everyone.

Rick-

What's the word on the 2007 cars at this point?

+1 I have been waiting on this fix for the 2007 cars since April..but I got tired of not being able to read and clear codes so I bought a BT tool.. whether they ever get to the fix I could really care less at this point.

To the 4 or 5 people out there that are having issues with the gauge on 2007 cars--- (not all 2007 cars have the bug, seems to be ECU version dependent) I am very sorry, and I AM working on a fix... but it's still being worked on.... I have do "partial" 2007 support, so we are almost there. A notice about the 2007 bug is posted on our website.

It's not as easy as it sounds... some 2007 cars have just a bug where EGT and Batt voltage didn't work.. that one I have pretty much solved already. But the 2007 cars that have code reading issues I am still working on the fix. I am working on it.. it's complicated because I have to mail out tests to people since I don't have a car that can replicate this issue locally.

We offer a money back guarantee, meaning, send us the gauge back and you get your money back... so I remind everyone who had 2007 car bugs to not forget that we ARE working on it, but if you get impatient, we will extent you a full refund if you return it.

Thanks,
-Rick
