Angry Installed OEM CF mirror cover

Ok so I installed OEM CF mirror covers and the damn seal strip got deformed a little so now it isn't a tight seal. How many/kind of problems will I run into with the folding/dimming mirrors with water getting inside the cover?

I believe he means the thin rubber/plastic piece on the mirror assembly, not the CF cover.

Nope, the stock painted cover is a tight seal without a seal strip or 3M. the CF ones for some reason aren't the same "snap-in" so they have a 3M double side tape seal.
