hey guys...im paranoid that my ecu was reset/flashed to stock after warranty work on my car. Other cars Ive owned, the dash settings are completely reset if the ecu has been reset.

Im thinking BMW will write it on the service invoice that ecu was reflashed to stock? Also will the dash setting reset if ecu was reset (ie. radio settings, etc)?

or the battery could have been disconnected????

just got software install at the dealer yesterday and battery recall so my radio is unsafed again which is understandable but my car feels slower as well. nd nothing mention on the paper on what software what it does etc

what do you mean by unsafed? are your settings like preset FM channels, bass/treble tuning reset?

I have a performance software programmed...i think it drives the same, well better throttle with the PE but just for future references i want to know what indications we have if ecu has been reset

yeh I ment my radio was reset. I need to find out what that software update include. cause car behaives different.
