FS: Carbon Fiber Fabric Wrapped E92 w/Idrive Trim ONLY $250!
CF Fabric Custom Wrapped. The fabric is coming a little loose from some of the edges because it was not professionaly done and the extreme heat must be loosening the fabric from the surface. Originally its Gray Poplar with spray adhesive and a CF fabric/leather wrapped on top. Would be a good candidate for fixing up with some extra adhesive or rewrapping. Could also peal the fabric off, sand, and paint. Nothing is broken. Fitment is great. Looking for a quick sale so I'll take the first $250 offered. Last edited by MikesBMW; 07-16-2011 at 01:59 PM.. |

now that my trim is out, i think it could actually be fixed up nice with some super glue around the edges to so that the fabric doesnt bubble up or come loose |

^ PMd you, the fabric can definitely be pealed off if you really wanted, but the adhesive residue might be hard to take off without some sort of solvent or go gone, could be messy. You can definitely rewrap over the thin layer of spray adhesive or of course have a shop sand and paint (i confirmed this). The stuff really isnt that bad, would be a good fixer up candidate.

FYI you would be better off stripping the wrap and selling the grey poplar trim. Nobody is going to spend money to make the appearance of their interior look worse.

^ its not going to look worse. the CF is fine, just the edges would need fixed up. if someone want to strip it then its up to them to make that decision
