Need help getting POI's off I-Drive navigation screen!

Has anyone had any experience with this? It's not in the manual and I cant seem to make the POI disappear

It is in the manual and you use the left most control window to select them on and off when you are in a map view.

I had the same problem. People tried to tell me a bunch of different suggestions and none seemed to work. I will try this too. Sick of seeing hardware stores everywhere.

On the left bar there is an 'i'. Push the idrive knob to the left to be in this leftmost window. Rotate clockwise to the 'i'. push i-drive in to enter. A slash should apper through the i, and your POI's will be gone..
