New carbon bits for 335i. What do ya think?

I purchased my 335i sedan in OZ a couple of months ago and arranged for the dealer to fit some carbon add ons but they fell short on supplying the side mirrors and the lower rear apron, so I got my brother in law Phil to make them (his specialty is motorbikes). The front apron's and rear bootlid spoiler are BMW kit. I also got a Taipan XP custom exhaust put on and Phil added on aluminium carbon fibre on to the tips. What do ya think?

P.S. I wish BMW's were the same price here as they are in the US.

I had it on the track today with BMW car club. It goes and sounds great. I'll get a vid done sometime soon. Its a lot noisier that standard.

I believe the standard 335i has about 180kw at the rear wheels. I was at the tuners a couple of weeks ago when they dynoed a 335i coupe with the same exhaust as mine and it was showing 199kw at the rear wheels and when they finished with their magical works it was showing 233kw at the rear wheels. I think that would have to be close to 290-300kw at the fly wheel.

Some other useless info. The 12 hr induro at Bathurst,Aus for production cars was held last weekend(the cars have to be purchased for under $125k Aus to qualify to compete) and was won by 335i coup. 2nd was a Subaru works team and their sti (driven by Chris Atkinson who drives for Subaru in the world rally series). I spoke to one of the guys who works at the local BMW dealership, he was working on the 335i to get it set up for the race and he said with a modified chip it was reading 220kw at the rear wheels, and it kicked arse. I guess the 335i is no slouch.

Yep, and the cars come standard with heaps of goodies, however there are still lots of boxes to tick at the dealership (barstards).

Try www.bmw.com.au and check out the specs.

Your car looks AWESOME.

I don't like the spoiler as much either, but it still looks great. Blacklines are a must on any E90. I don't know what some of you guys are thinking. The stock lights look horrible.

You need carbon fiber grills!
