basic cleaning steps required..

Hi,

I'm desperate to have my car cleaned properly - but due to my work commitments and constant use of the car, I'm unable to get some professional to do it on a suitable day/time. The only day I can do it, is on a Sunday. Today was going to be the day, but it's been pi**ing down since yesterday. So, while I have a little more time to learn about something I have no clues about, I'm hoping to pick the brains of you lot.

The paintwork on the car (sapphire black) is in a bit of a sorry state. a couple of light scratches, swirls in the paint work - general paint deficiencies.

So, I need some advice of what I should be buying and the steps in which I should be using the products. Nothing too time consuming and something I can buy off the shelf of somewhere like halfrauds.

Thank you.

I would suggest that you should have a look at detailing world's website as its all about car cleaning.

Book a session with a professional detailer to start with. They will bring the paintwork up to a good standard and it will be easier for you to maintain from there. They will also be happy to give you tips on general cleaning as well which will be very useful.
