wastegate rattle is getting out of hand!!!!
My wastegate rattle is so bad and i dont know what to do. Im really mad cause i called the dealer when my warranty was still good and they told me that they wont fix the rattle cause its normal. and now i am out of warranty and the rattle is so bad im ebarrased to drive my car almost, when i start it in the moring i can hear it in the car with the windows up!!!
There has to be something i can do other than RB turbos or Stock turbos since the dealer F***** me over. And i already tried to adjust the actuator rod 2.5 turns. Any other ideas or is this just going to end up costing me 5g's??

I got rid of the rattle with the Procede wastegate position adjustment.

Yeah, that sucks. I would have gone to another dealership ASAP for a second opinion. I hope you are bringing in the car stock though. Having downpipes installed and trying to get turbos replaced will throw a red flag at the dealer.
like ^ said, the Procede wastegate position adjustment seems to work for a lot of people. I never had wastegate rattle so I can't feel your pain. Hope it works out though.

I would take it back to stock and then bring it in.
Point out to them that the rattle was present when you were under waranty and you were told it was normal. It continued to get worse so it was clearly not. This condition, which is a known problem, was present WHEN UNDER WARANTY. |
