Removed Front Number Plate - Left a Hole in Bumper

Hi

As title says, i have a 2011 E90 LCI and i have removed the front number plate to put on my private plate, the new plate is called a 'short plate' meaning its reduced in width due to the lesser number of characters.

The old number plate looked as though it was fixed to the bumper using two self tappers in both upper corners, i have now fixed the new number plate using adhesive pads but this has left me with 2 small holes in my bumper.

Does anyone know the easier way to fill these and polish over?

All help appreciated.

THere isn't any easy way but won't a short plate get you in trouble. Regulations stipulate the plate size no matter how many characters are on it.

Regulations say a plate has to be 10 or 11mm wider than the last numbers so he will be fine.

I have exactly the same problem. The only way to do it right is a full bumper respray at a body shop. Annoying

Oh why didn't I think of that!

The idea of the short plate is to make the car look individual.

Would one of these firms that polish out scratches and dents look at it?
