Where to buy Wheels

I need a set of 18" wheels.. either a CSL style VMR VB3 type.. or a V710 type.. or even a V701 type wheel.. with proper offsets and such

I don't want to pay over $800 (taxes in) new - I'm in Toronto..

I got a quote for a set of Hankook V12s on VB3's for around $1850 taxes in but they can't provide me with any info about the offsets and they were very fast to confirm things without finding out what tire sizes or anything I need which is very weird. I had to ask them what size tire theyre putting on and they were like uhhhhhhhhhhhh... Who would take an order on something without info on ANYTHING including sizes/offsets etc.

Any help?

For VMR, contact Allan at Tires23. You'll need more then $800 though. Also contact OEM Concept, you can find them on this forum. Search the forum, there is lot's of info on here about wheels.

Yeah I've looked everywhere.. contacted both those guys.. They're charging close to 2K for everything.. :S

Just wondering if people have found any awesome steal-deals

$2k is about right for tires and wheels in Canada. Perhaps you should look for used?

For an entry level set of wheels and tires 2k is the going rate.

For me, it wasn't worth the hassle of having them shipped to Buffalo or Niagara Falls, once I factored in my time, gas, and duty, etc. it wasn't that much of a difference.

For those of you that did go through that process, how much did you save in the end once you add everything up? Just curious, maybe next time I'll do it too.

On another set of wheels I was pricing out my savings were $535 vs. buying from local Candian Vendors. This is after taking into account gas, HST.
