Sick of cleaning my carpets

I have a beige interior and am sick and tired of cleaning my carpets. No matter what i try off of autopia (Meg, Folex, etc..) my carpets just don't look that great. Usually I drive around with plastic carpets on top but I think it takes away from the car. Yes, I tried the search button but what I'm looking for is black carpet mats. i don't want to buy the OEM ones due to the fact they're not that black (do I sound crazy?). The black interior I always thought was a little light compared to MB and Acura and when you put the OEM black mats in a beige interior you can really tell. Anyway does anybody use other mats? I dont want to use the weather ones...I really like the look of carpet. Any ideas where I can find nice ones that will fit?

Go to Home Depot or Lowes. They have light brown/tan carpet runner. Pretty cheap. They're about 3' wide and as long as you like. Get them home and trace out the shape of your original. Lay the tan carpet runner over your OEM mat then Voila. The looks of carpet at a very cheap price.

The MB is darker? I guess it's just the carpets then...I've put both the OEM BMW and the MB mats in car and the MB show up much better/nicer/darker...and before anybody says this, I don't want to buy new tan ones

well considering i did just go to both cars and look her is my observations!!

The whole interior in the BMW is darker!! alot darker!!

I took both mats out and placed them side by side and YES your right the MB is darker.. more clean of a black too actually wtf!!!

So my 2 cents are that MB carpet mats are blacker than BMW carpet mats!

I know want MB black mats with a bmw logo!!

Yes!! 100th post!! Anyway...yeah you can really tell the difference when you put it in the beige...I attached a pic (I hope I don't offend anybody)...I saw pics of the Hartage and AC matts and they're definitely darker but there's no way in hell I'm spending $250 on carpets that's just

I agree with you about the darkness of the mats--I actually called my SA after delivery and told him I thought i had gotten the wrong mats. He actually ordered me another set--which turned out to be the exact same color--it was kind of embarassing. But I agree--the mats are not that dark....

MB used to have a true black interior IIRC, now they are going w/ "Charcoal" instead.

The carpeted floor mats for the MBs are darker than the BMWs I think.

Why not just get the BMW all weather mats? They're so easy to maintain...
