WTB: (2) BBS CH 19x9.5 ASAP

Hey Guys,

Unfortunately my wife drove my new refinished BBS CH rims and she hit a pot hole and cracked one of the rims in multiple places not sure how that happened but what can i do. They were 19x8.5 all around looking to go staggered now!.

So i am looking for 2x 19x9.5 BBS CH wheels can be silver or blacked out non polished Lip. going to get them finished anyways to match the other wheels.

Any one in the NY or NJ Area i can Pick them up right away cash in hand. Looking to do it asap. Can come with or without tires.

Thank you.

CH's are infamous for this..imo. my advice get something else if you can swing it. i went through two sets of these wheels before i was done with 19's. i may actually have a spare CH for you..i'll check the shed.

So if these wheels are infamous for cracking....then why did everyone rip on me when my breytons cracked?

I understand BBS is a better name then Breyton but c'mon. You can't sell a wheel that always cracked and breaks on you. There IS some level of safety that has to be met when making wheels, I'm sure breyton must up keep that level, as does BBS (who probably exceeds these levels) but in the end, they both crack.

I have had these rims for approx 3 years now. And they are really strong and i drove the hell out of them. But regardless rims crack and bend, its just the way it goes. I seen people bend the hell out of forged rims and there supposed to be stronger. It depends on what roads you drive them on and Tires.

But no regrets with BBS they are sexy wheels and pretty strong but something had to give. And my wife looks like she went over a raised pothole or something and caught that one wheel. Surprising that she showed up home and said hey i got a sign on the screen saying that the tire was low can you please check it. I said did you hit anything she goes yeah but nothing out of the unusual.

I just went

haha OP- that's why i don't let females drive my cars! lol..they drive over anything.

--fdriller trust me no body knows what you are talking about better than me..ive been through it all. any wheel will crack, esp with a 35 series tire with next to no protection. maybe its the tire, maybe its the susp travel, the massive weight on the front axle..etc.. but it will come down to driver error at the end and every manufacturer will claim that whether or not their product is responsible in part. i have cracked all types of wheels, mostly cast though. forged will tend to bend..when i went to 18's never had a problem although it was only an upgrade to a 235/40/18 ps2 up front. hit a pothole hard enough and an hre will fail on you. all wheels can meet tuv/j specs..they are required to but it comes down to construction and quality imho. compare the processes that bbs and rays use at their factories to that of lower end manufacturers..its astounding.i remember back in the day i had a set of rep wheels and they were the most poorly constructed wheels i ever had..bent in a week and paint chipped off in a month. breyton are quality wheels, don't doubt your self. wheels are the one thing no one "should" cheap out on. i have a pair of oz alegs hlt's that i have hit craters with..yet no probs. BBS are GREAT wheels but like any other 19 inch wheel with rubberbands with tires they'll fail. im looking for some forgestars now!

Trust me i wish i can prevent her from driving it, but shes paying for it too so i Dont care too much. She is actually a very good driver when i am with her. Ha! maybe she drives like a maniac when she is alone as she realized the power from the JB3.

ozs are 18s. i had a buddy pick up a set of the forgestars for his e92 M3 and they are just great wheels, super strong and light..not 17lbs like my ozs but close and are awesome looking. i almost had a set back in the day but they were full of bs back then and their company had a lot of issues, i think they are up to date now.
