No drone. No rasp. Nothing loud enough to make people stare and think "wtf."

i like it loud. Mine is pretty loud right now, but it could be louder. It gets plenty of attention, and is significantly louder than any PE on an n52 or 335 exhaust I have heard

Loud enough to hear when windows are down and quiet enough when windows are up

Loud enough to mask the wood chipper sound in my yard while I dispose of all the commuters that pissed me off during my work week. Seriously though, I despise loud fartcan exhaust sounds, as I am bombarded by them here in shithole NJ. BMW PE and PI produce enough music when I want it, and very little when I don't want it. Drone sucks.

For me, not much about loudness( but I do want to hear it of course!), but more about the sound itself. is it raspy, does it sound like a cheap tin car, or does it make the car feel more muscular, or does it give it a nice ferrari type pitch.

amen. That is why I went with a proper exhaust set up for the loudness- It is still a very nice tone, and is 95% drone free. I am sure a muffler + res delete would probably be louder, but then the drone and tone wouldn't be as refined
