As long as your under 150 you are "ok".
STage 2 is more boost, same principal though, FMIC is recommended otherwise you will run too hot. |

Had a chance to do some high temp pulls. There are 4 logs of runs to 110+mph when it was 93 degrees and humid.
Mods Stage One Cobb 93 octane Helix FMIC AR Catless DPs DCI Intake temps for each pull started at 107, 115, 125 and 135 for each. Total time for all four pulls were completed in 3 mins 2 seconds to see how she held up with some hot intake temps. |

Fmic is the second engine mod you must do after a tune. The stock IC is crap.

+1 the fmic may not show extensive gains, but if you do anything resembling a high speed run you will notice the difference, more so than dps.

Ha ha, you guys living in the artic with your 93 degree air temps. Try 109 degree air temps, 120 degree air above a parking lot or asphalt road. I am seeing 140 degrees in the interior (yes, interior is 140 degrees after sitting in the sun). The surface temperature of the hood of my car is reaching 145 degrees. And intake temps with a cold air intake are reaching 145 degrees (165 if I slap on a DCI).
That's all pre-turbo. But with the big ETS 7" FMIC I'm seeing 145 - 160 degree post compressor temps while moving (they creep up sitting still). I long for the day where the *high* is 93 degrees... |

+1 When spraying Meth alone it will drop temps more than FMIC or CAI. However, you do not spray all the time so FMIC is probably still better in the long run. I felt a huge difference btw stock and upgraded IC, no more bog after being heat soaked and pulled strong at the top of the RPM band.
