Brand new to BMW, a few questions!
So I'm picking a E92 335i this weekend and coming from a car with a very adaptable ECU, I was wondering if the stock tuning on these cars adapts to modifications well?
I am thinking of picking up a used JB4 from a buddy, but I kind of want to get intakes and a BOV conversion first before I put a tune on it. On that note, how reliable is the JB4? will it cause any parts to prematurely fail?and can it be detected by the dealer if it's been installed and removed when taken in? Thanks in advance for the help! |

Don't waste your money on an intake and BOV until you do many other things to your car. Tune, FMIC, downpipes, meth....are all better choices for performance mods. Our stock ECU will adapt to modifications however, the tune will bring them to life. Before you visit a dealer, clear the codes and uninstall the tune.

^^what he said, I think a tune and FMIC/Meth, then DPs would be the way to go.....
