guys what do u think of my lease...few questions

So today I got a quote for 1000 over ED invoice.
335xi sedan
With my options comes out to $44390+1000= $45390
-24mo/10k per year
-MF .00275 (+ the extra they charge for ED which covers the payment they make for you while the car is on the boat)=.00305
-Residual 74%
- NY taxes 8.375 rolled into lease
- Destination and Handling $775 included in above price (does this apply to ED though?)
====================
Lease comes out to

630/mo

Due at signing
- 1st payment--------- 630
- Security deposit------650
- Bank Fee-------------625
- Tax------------------54
- DMV Fee-------------173
- Plates/Registration----225 (and they'll refund me any difference if it's lower than that)
========================
Total Due at signing----2355

Isnt that a little steep on the total due at signing.... I thought it was going to be like 1600.... what do you guys think.

I also dont understand one thing...the 335xi gets 2855 off US MSRP.... I need to figure out how much of a discount off US Invoice since my price is 1k above ED invoice....

Also plan to get the wheel/tire insurance for which they want 699....
do I have ANY bargaining power left in this lease....I'd like to knock it down to 650 with the wheel and tire insurance.

The drive-off doesn't look too far off although many people here don't pay a security deposit as a previous customer.

Re wheel and tire insurance, you might consider the $2.50/month plan from theautoclub.com.

Yes, it's not unlimited but unless you from past experience go through a lot of wheels and tires, the amount you will save in 2 years (ca. $640 in savings) will cover any difference.

saw their site but has anyone actually used them and what does this mean

From just $2.50 /mo you get:
------------------------Coverage Amount per Claim
Vehicle -------------------Tire/Wheel Repair Tire/Wheel Replacement
Automobile/Motorcycle ------------$20.00------------- $350.00

That they'll pay you 20 bucks to fix/repair a tire/wheel if it can be repaired and 350 bucks if something needs to be replaced..... they also dont say what the limit is.....also isnt one runflat like 300 bucks?

The up fronts are normal. Make sure that you are using the US MSRP for residual calculation, not the ED MSRP.

Up fronts too steep for me.
$650 security deposit???
Is that refundable? If not, F that!!
I was a first time BMW leasee, no security deposit needed!
$625 Bank Fee??
That's a bit high too, "bank fee" for what, giving you a percentage rate?
As much of a crock of Shite these "bank fees" are, they are usually $400-500.
You can get a car with $1000-1500 Drive off

Ask to see if they are charging you an Acquisition Fee in the price too.
That is just another loop-hole way for the dealer to charge you extra money.
Think about how funny that is...they are CHARGING you EXTRA to AQUIRE a car that THEY are selling/leasing to YOU!!

Go to leaseguide.com and plug in the numbers, if they work then great, if not, renegotiate.

The Security deposit is refundable...I was told that whatever your credit score is...BMW Financial Services require it... I dont know what the bank fee is either...but seems like each dealership makes their own rules... I dont see an aquisition fee in there....

RF tires don't usually get repaired so ignore the $20. I purchased the insurance (haven't used it) but have seen several posts where people have gotten their claims paid with no problem.

For more questions, call them. One person has posted that the $350 applies to a tire or a wheel so if you need both it's $700 but I am not 100% sure of that.

That's funny, on my lease agreement with BMW FS, in the line that says, "security deposit" it reads: N/A
Give BMW FS a call first and ask them directly.
Ask them about the Bank Fee too.

Unless there are additional DMV fees for registering a car from ED, this looks like a double hit. The DMV fee which includes plates and registration s/b the $173 (I just paid $138 for my E92).

Double check the dealer numbers.
