Where do you guys buy race gas

race gas

i plan on running my car down to 30-50 miles to empty before putting race gas in, but was woundering if you guys buy it from the track? or if its cheaper to buy it some where else?

i saw sunoco gas stations sell some form of race gas, don't know the octane.
when i raced my mustang i would head to the track on an empty tank and put in about 5 gallons of what i don't remember, but that car had 480rwh and was indestructible, not to mention cheaper and easier to fix.

if you don't mind tell me how what when where......

I believe the Sunoco on 45th street and Australian ave. in Riviera pumps 100 octane unleaded.

I found vp racing fuels in ft Lauderdale, I thinking I'll buy some and store it in my garage

Gas loses octane over time. If you plan on storing it there for several months it's probably not worth it.

I'd call them. They had it at a separate pump when I was there.

Ok if it loses octane I'll buy only what I need for bout 2 weeks. But I'm gonna find a sunoco that has higher octane gas, sounds like there might be a few sunoco stations between me and palm beach raceway
