Procede=OMG...

I just finished intalling procede this morning. First of all, the install was fairly easy and straight foward. The install video helped a lot, and when my laptop started freezing on me, the detailed written instructions were right on the button to save me(thx ninjaneer!). The only hiccup was that shiv DID NOT supply me with the "supplied" coupler. It was no where to be found in the box and I'm positive it wasn't overlooked or misplaced. BTW, what's the deal with everyone having trouble with the tubes on the selenoid. It literally took me 5 seconds to pull them off- just pull straight up with a bit of help with your finger from the bottom. Anyway, I picked up a 3/16" coupler from autozone(no 5/32" in stock) and two rubber cappings for the open nipples this morning and finished the install. OMG was what was going thru my head at first impression. Higher throttle response is evident, and all gears pull about 5x more than stock(I thought fourth gear was decent before, now it's unreal and a bit scary). The thing I most noticed was how fast the speedo climbs. I think a radar is almost mandatory now with the procede.....Anyways, one question tho. The papers that came with the unit stated that I have v1.3 pre-loaded. Is this true or do I have latest v1.4? Mine shipped out last week.

Forgot the coupler? Did you check in the bag that had the two fuse jumpers? If so, sorry about that As for the v1.4 map, it is in your PROcede in you got it last week. We forgot to update the sheet that goes out with the kit. Thanks for the headsup. And thanks for the review... enjoy your car!

so excluding the time to get the coupler, how long did the overall install take you?

Not to be a d1ck, but does every new PROcede owner need to post how much more power it gives the car.
Everyone knows already! We all knew the Xede did wonders for the car, and those who first got the PROcedes put in their 335i's a couple months ago gave reviews and dyno sheets and so forth.
It's not necessary anymore to post that it makes the 335i so much stronger/faster.

We might as well nip these repetitive and unnecessary posts in the bud. New PROcede owners, do a "search" for the other posts (a few dozen by now) about the PROcedes results.
Then feel free to reply to one of them if you feel you need to share your excitement of finally getting the PROcede. Thanks!

Sorry, don't mean to sound mean, it's just "old" news now and it's like seeing a repost for the 100th time.

You've got to be kidding me! This is taking the whole repost thing to an absurd limit.

People come here to share experiences with like-minded enthusiasts. Don't read the "I got my PROcede!" threads if you don't like them, but it's ridiculous to suggest they shouldn't be posted.

I agree, I was thinking the same exact thing. If you don't want to read it then don't click on the thread.

To the OP, congrats on the Procede and be safe.

uh guys... I'm pretty sure Driver72 has a PRocede so there goes your theories

Lead times are still estimated at 2-3 weeks. We have enough units in stock right now to satisfy every order that is currently waiting. In the process of harness making right now (by hand!). Should have that job oursourced soon which means that we will *eventually* be able to ship with little or no wait time. Just not quite there yet.

Hi, you must be new here! Let me introduce you to these smileys in a friendly manner before anyone else does:

and it's first cousin

Now that that's out of the way...

PROcede is a mod that increases hp + torque and is only applicable to the 335i (N54 engine / turbos). It is sold by Vishnu Performance Systems (http://www.vishnutuning.com/) - check out shiv@Vishnu's posts and the links in his signatures!

Check out these too:
Vishnu PROcede vs. Stock Dyno Result Extravaganza - Get an idea of how much extra hp/tq we're talking about...
http://www.vishnutuning.com/BMW_support.htm - Watch the install video to see what the mod looks like

Other than that do a search and you'll find tons of info. And you're probably gonna be concerned about warranty at one point or another, so do a search on that too.
