Evening all,

The weather was nice today so thought about giving a wash to the car. As this car isn't my daily drive so was parked since Monday but it never happend before.

Yes it took good 5-6 seconds to start, so am I right to think the unthinkable ? even second time it took 2-3 seconds.

Please advice me if thats the world famous HPFP issue ?. Had 3 injectors replaced last month after finding out through the forum that there is a QEP or in other words recall, even though the car hadn't miss a beat since I bought it.

Could it be the injectors that are causing this or was it about time(HPFP failure) ?

Please advice.

I think quite a few people had this issue in their 335i, so please advice me.

Just to add that later on when I went out for a drive the car started normal but I could hear a slight knocking sound coming from the engine bay but could be a placebo effect.
