19'' Sizing Question

What's up Forum!

I have 2006 E90 325i with the sports package, stock it comes with 17'' wheels and sports suspension. (all stock right now)

I was looking into getting some wheels and found these BMW OEM Style 218 they come on the 6 series. These are the measurements:

19" x 8.5", 5 Lug, 120mm Bolt Pattern, 14mm Offset (FRONT)
19" x 9", 5 Lug, 120mm Bolt Pattern, 14mm Offset (REAR)

With the measurements above will I have any issues with the INSTALL, RUBBING, or anything else etc...

Thanks for all your feedback guys... Any information will be appreciated.

The wheels are similar to 285 but these are 19" and they just look sweet as hell. I believe someone else on the forum was looking into getting these.

my rims set perfect, flush, and im running 19 X 8.5 +35 offset and 19 X 9.5 with +30 offset.... the higher the number the closer to the strut/shock the rim sits, so with a lower offset like you are thinking of running the rims will set out of the fenders more... mine sit flush with the fenders, so im thinking yours might sit a tad outside of the fenders... not sure how much though... might need to have fenders rolled, not sure though

Thanks for the explanation! Now I get it, if I were to put those wheels at a 14mm off set it would look RIDICULOUS. Like the pic LoL

Again thanks for the explanation!

You could probably run those with no issues, if any issue, it would be the front wheel. You would need to test fit the wheels as a large determining factor is the sidewall geometry of the specific tires your running. They vary dramatically in shape.

Offset is an indication of where the mounting face of the wheel sits in relation to the wheel center line. A positive offset means it sits farther out towards the wheel face from the center line.

I think it will work. Your just gonna have to stretch the tires and maybe roll your fenders. I've seen people run 19x9.5 in the rear with a +18mm offset and stretched tires. Your prolly gonna have to run a 215/35/19 front and 245/30/19 rear
