FS: OEM M3 DCT Shit Knob, Boots
Selling all my parts, including this M3 DCT Knob I haven't even used. OEM M3 DCT Knob with several hundred miles of use by the original owner. Excellent like-new condition, absolutely no marks or damage. Wired for operation in an E9X. Everything works as you'd expect it to--all symbols light up as you shift into that gear, and as with the rest of the interior lighting, it lights up about half-brightness at night. It is permanently attached to a weird-shaped triangular M3 boot. I would have cut the leather closer to the knob and used it with an MT boot (remove the gear display cable from the surround plate and tuck it in under the boot). Installing the knob is very simple--installation is plug and play, harness is made of OEM wires and connectors. The sale includes the knob, nappa leather ebrake boot (much nicer than our stock E9X boots and matches the leather on the M3 knob), and e9x MT boot. Everything is in excellent condition, would probably pass as new. Price is SOLD USPS Priority. Last edited by yakev724; 08-20-2011 at 01:58 PM.. |

I'd be all over this but I gotta chill with the mods. I've spent too much money on my car this year lol

The install doesn't delete the PNRD frame, however, you can easily remove the frame's electronic cable (to which the harness will plug in at both ends), and not have to use the frame. All you're left with is some wiring which will tuck in neatly under the edges of the console trim, allowing the MT boot to neatly snap in. Alternatively, you can just re use your AT boot and keep the PNRD surround plate, but had I installed it, I would have definitely gone the MT boot route. |
