Looks like an ABS (wheel) sensor has failed.

It is that, I had the same thing £155 for the part plus fitting.
You will also find that Cruise does not work either.

Very easy DIY and you can get the sensor for about £80, if that's what it is. You need to read the fault code to confirm (and it will also reveal which wheel).

It's possible if you hit the kerb. I'd jack it up, remove the rear wheels and check each sensor is secure and straight before going to the dealer.

Some faults will turn it off. The middle dash icon is DSC&DTC fully OFF. And as said above, without DSC available the cruise control is disabled too. Could be the control module, could be a sensor.

^ perhaps, but I took it to mean that the lights only came on after the incident. Obviously, with traction control off or non-functioning, as it is now, then the back will step out if you boot it through a roundabout. ABS sensor is a common failure; hopefully it's not a contol module.

I didnt hit any kerbs last night as it was a big open roundabout, i was in a bit of a hurry being honest, i booted it and the back end slid slightly on the exit and i corrected it with the steering (all traction control systems were active at the time of the slide)
It was not until this morning when i came out of the house and got into the car that the lights came on the dash. Does this mean my traction control systems are now disabled until i get the fault sorted? |

I had this but it was because I moved the steering rack to get to the downpipes. In my case the traction and cruise failed. Your problem seems more likley to just be a failed sensor. Get the fault codes read and it will more than likely tell you which sensor is needing replaced.
You will def not have any traction control til its sorted....easy to check, go try a burnout |

I am amazed you still have cruise control with that standing alarm.
Shouldnt happen really. If you manually select DTC or DSC off then even that 'should' disable the cruise function on safety grounds. Sensors about £120 plug and go, easy 5min job.
