Hello my fellow NY, NJ, CT and PA members., I have an opportunity for everyone here and wanted to get some input from my fellow N55er's in the Area.

I got in touch with Jeremy from OE tuning and he is willing to send his tool to Lomotion Corvette in Poughkeepsie, NY. I haven't discussed pricing with him yet, but I'll see what can be done if we get multiple people interested in getting the tune on the same day... (PRice is normally $695, lets see how many are really interested to generate a group buy discount possibly, if we get 10 or more people interested, we can get a group buy going)

Jeremy stated he has maps to suit those who have catless DP's (no CEL).

Lets get some interest going and then pick a date in the near future to get a group tuning session going. I will also post this in the N55 section, but I hope that I can get more interest here, as this is the region it's geared towards...

I didn't even know lomotion did BMW. Isn't it mostly/only vettes and muscle cars? If I had an n55 I would've. It's going to be tough to get a lot of interest in our town. I'd love to see what a flashed /Jb3 x5 can do... :-)

If you can convince Jeremy to let you do it, I'll gladly change the venue to your shop... I would prefer it actually.. Keep the business in a BMW indy shop instead of a corvette shop...

Plus having you as the flasher for this would probably get more people interested... Lomotion Corvette is an unknown for a lot of BMW owners I'm sure.

I'll change it, if you get approval...

Good and Bad... The Good, I'll be there, unless something comes up (i'll text you)

The Bad: Got email response from Jeremy:
"Right now I only have one flash dealer in NY, and he is in Poughkeepsie. As
it stands I am only sending flash tools out to dealers who have purchased
dealer flash tools. I am sorry if this causes any inconvenience. I have no
problems with Matt selling more tunes. I am sure I can get JJ to come down
to the shop to flash there for you.
Please let me know when you have a date in mind."

Take it as you will folks... Maybe we can still get JJ to come down to Camber-toe, but unless you (Matt) get the flash tools from OE, it's a no go...

I would rather avoid a 2 hour drive as well, so when I see Matt this weekend (unless he responds in this thread earlier) I'll discuss with him about maybe getting this JJ guy to come down state to Matt's Shop.

But it's gonna require more than just two people interested in the flash, it won't be worth this guys time or money to come 2-3 hours south to flash two N55's...
