Bumper help

I backed up into a parked pickup truck, stupid I know.

My question is do I just need to replace the bumper cover? I barely touched the thing, or at least it felt like I did.

If that's the case, is this something that's pretty easy to do?

Also, where can I find the bumper part to buy? I looked on Tischer but they didn't have it.

The car is a 2011 335i xdrive coupe, black metalic saphire.

Start by bringing it to a local body shop and asking them to heat it and pop it out, then assess the paint damage. Most shops will be nice and do it for free, especially if you've ever been there before. Or promise them the paint work if there needs to be any.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just had it looked at, $925 all in. The part is $513 plus paint plus labor. Less than my deductible anyway.

He said the parts come unpainted, if that's true, not sure I have many options.

You can't see it well in the pic, but the bumper is actually ripped.

Any body shop worth their shit should spend 5 minutes pushing it out for you regardless of where you are.

Sucks for you.

I knocked the lower corner of my front bumper in on a parking block shortly after getting the car. Brought it to a guy down the road and had it popped out and some splitters thrown on. No charge. Right outside NYC.
