Rial Salerno Anthracite Pic Request

Looking at buying 17" Rial Salerno wheels for my winter set up.

I found one thread on here discussing basically this same thing, but its from 2009 and all the pictures in that thread were dead links.

I currently have a 335is, so there is no chrome on it and I'm thinking the Anthracite would look better than bright silver as the car by default comes with a black-out look.

Right now my car has the 19" M wheels which are a very light gunmetal, somewhere between silver and gunmetal I'd say.

I'm leaning towards the Anthracite, but I'd like to see some pics of E9x BMW's with a set installed.

Hopefully someone here has some and can post some pics to help me decide.

The Salerno in this color is a new wheel that we haven't yet received in the US market so no one will have pics of it. We hope to begin getting them into stock next month.

Tire Rack has these on their website in anthracite. Go to the rims section and select "View on Vehicle" to see what they look like on your car. You can also select the colour of your car as well.

How good are these wheels? Heck I'm thinking about running them for a summer set in 18"

We've sold these for years and have had very good experience and feedback with them.

I had already done that, but its not quite the same as seeing the real wheel on a real car. I've seen plenty of real pics that looked better or worse on a car than is represented on the Tirerack website. Not dissing TR's view on vehicle function, its great, but its no substitute for the real thing.

That is probably about as good as I'm going to get. The color, while painted, looks pretty close to what I'm expecting. Thanks for posting the pic.

I was pondering this exactly. Thanks to http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=491963
and pixlr, I came up with the attached image. Might not be exact, but it should give a pretty good idea, better than the TR view on vehicle function, at least.

Ordered them a minute ago w/some Xi2s - thanks Gary! Will post up actual pics in a couple months when I throw them on when the temps go down...

I've run this wheel 2 seasons already and plan to use them on my '10 E90 again this winter. They hold up real well to winter conditions, they accomodate a BMW center cap and are very easy to keep clean due to the simple 5-spoke design!

...I'm definately NOT ready for this stuff yet!

Crappy cell phone pic is crappy, but I test fitted the wheels today and didn't have a camera handy.

The finish is almost matte. Solid looking wheel for a winter setup. Have some more pics, if OP wants them.

Requesting Side Profile +1

A better look than I was expecting from a winter set-up – good call.

Thanks. Didn't take an exact side profile shot. Will get some better shots in the actual snow. Hopefully I have at least a couple months before that starts, though...

What is the weight of the salerno wheel in 17 and 18" sizes? I think they are great looking wheels AND not just for winter use!
