Diesel dyno testing!
Hey guys,
I saw this before and after diesel dyno posted on bimmerfest and thought you guys might be interested in it. The testing was done with the JBD at the default setting on an AWD dynojet. Can you explain why the car goes into limp mode when you floor the accelerator with JBD at 85%+ using the new chip? If you turn off the car and start it again, limp mode goes away but I'm sure a code is stored. Can JBD only be run at 65% or stock setting to avoid this and SES/CEL lights?
Also, the 45 seconds may be for the X5, but those hex bolts on the 3er will take a bit longer... BMW's fault.

What is the factory setting at (50 or 65) and can you show me a picture of where the arrow would be at 69% to avoid tuner codes?

Can anyone post a pic of where the arrow would be at just under 70%? The codes thrown may be "tuner codes", but they put the car into limp mode. Why not just make the unit with one setting at 69.99%?

Valid point. It's my understanding, that not everyone experiences limp mode or SES lights at 90% to 100%, it's car dependent. My car doesn't go into limp mode/throw SES lights anymore now that I have it set at 85%, so a 69% limitation would suck in my case.
