Possibile to switch 06 idrive knob to 07 knob?

Is it possible? The idrive knob in the 07's is much nicer IMO..

It is possible... it cost me $46000+ to do it though!!

Yes, you can pull old one of and press new one on. It's that easy. I bought my new knob on ebay for EUR 25

i think they are talking about the feel. i drove a 2006 loaner today and the thing vibrates and pulls at me when i spin. my '07 march. prod. e92 is so smooth, glad i have her back. how do you turn your knobs, i like playing with my knob much better!
