Going to dragstrip with a couple of my friends: Predictions?

Friend A: Week-old new Corvette C6 Grandsport automatic

Friend B: 2009 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (550 hp)

Me: FBO 335i minus meth. Got 295

Michelin SS rears, so hopefully my car will be able to hook up pretty well.

Do I finish last? If I get some good video I'll post it up.

With a cobb? I think you will lose but it should be pretty close with the vette, no clue what that porshe would run, low 12's maybe. Best I could do with fbo and cobb was 12.5 in a 135, but my 60' was pretty slow.

when are you going? send the guys at cobb some pizzas and maybe they will give you the stage 2 tune before then

I've already done 12.9 at 113 with a 2.0 launch.

Hoping to get a 1.8/9 60 ft

tuning isn't done yet...i'm actually alpha testing their stage 3 map, not stage 2..

how are you running 295's i just got 265 SS's and im rubbing even after ive rolled my fenders..........im going to roll them more today. 295's must be insane, GL at the track buddy.

I'm assuming you're "deep in the heart" of texas, if so today will be a steamy 95F, so I'm adding .25 seconds to the ET's, and subtracting 2 mph from the traps.

Dude A: 12.7 @ 110 mph

Dude B: 12.3 @ 112 mph

You: 13.1 @ 109 mph

Zero to 60 mph: 4.0 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 12.4 sec @ 113 mph

not sure about the '09 but it should be close.
