I bought a set of these a while back and still haven't mounted them. I heard you have to do modifications to get them on though. Was this the case with your installation?

What is the modifications you are talking about?

I did not need to modify anything. it is plug and play. There are plenty of people that run it and are plug and play. I actually have not heard that these need modification.

There are four screws that are connecting the top of the bumper to the frame of the car. You pop open the hood and unscrew the four screws, remove the grills, install the scoops and then put the grills back on.

No bolts are needed as they use the stock screws.
