Are you running Point By or Solo? Let me know ASAP so I can reserve my spot.

Point by. If they run out of space, drop me a line and I'll go down to solo.

I'm in for the 7th. Almost full!
I'm thinking since this is a Wednesday event, it won't be as busy. Other benefits are we're running the Cyclone (prefer that over the bypass) and it's pass anywhere. Hope that means less traffic and better times. First time running with NCRC. Fingers crossed.

Hmmmm....Cyclone. It's the proper way around Thunderhill.

IIRC, Ride the right edge, Hard left at top to hit the apex, straighten the wheel and ride down. It's a lot of fun. Can't see anything. Somewhat similar to turn 9 but slower, harder turn, and quicker ascent/descent.

I'm not in. Looking to Infineon later in Sept. The 2:09 data file I sent you is with the cyclone. Gotta find the 2:08 data file with the cyclone. That translates to a 2:05-2:06 with the bypass.

I would love to be there and do some ride alongs. I think you guys could easily pull 3 seconds off your best times with just a little information.

Just waiting on parts to be delivered.
- New Stoptech rotors, SS lines, Motul to be here Wednesday.
- M3 tension rods, wishbones, bushings, sway come Friday.
Hope to get all that installed right away then it's time for an alignment.

After the track event, I plan to install the my subframe bushings and rear sway.

I also have the meth kit to install. Not sure if that's going in before or after the event.

My rotors were warped. They wouldn't replace under the maintenance plan because 1) the thickness were still over min and 2) pad still had life.

Check this... Since it wasn't covered, they wanted $1300 for new rotors and a new control arm bushing. Instead, I bought everything listed above plus some maintenance parts for under $1k.

Yes, it WILL be a lot of fun. Really looking for to the change in passing rules. I have a feeling we'll be able to stick together and produce some great footage. Just wish I had the trick data acquisition like you!

I'll bring my performance box as well so you can at least get laptimes/splits/etc. though it won't include RPM, ECU. Better than nothing!

Doh, it died after the last event and I threw it out. I'll be there at 0630 and grab us space under the second fixed overhang.

Spellcheck ftl! Was supposed to say "all mods are done." Had to go to 2 different firestone locations for the alignment. Finally done at 7pm. What a hassle. At least, everything was completed. Running 1.5 and 1.3 negative camber up front. That's pretty good for not using camber plates or drilling out the alignment pin.

Awning is even better than a canopy. No chance it'll blow over! Looking forward to a good day. See you in a few hours.

Oh man, I didn't realize who you were. I remember the license plate! I really like your street wheels. I was running my Spec Miata in Open and Point By.

Cool, what color was it? Were you also hanging out under the awning?

Thx to Dave and Luc from NCRC. Awesome day, lots of track time and not too crowded. Most of the folks in point by were awesome at letting folks by and relatively smooth/on the line. Will post video/car report when I get a chance to review.
