So, I have a CIC retrofit kit that I bought 4 months ago from Patryk that I never got to install in my vehicle

. After talking with a few people, I feel guilty so I am putting the CIC retrofit up for sale. This is the works and you'll see why.

This is for a car with the older CCC navigation (meaning you don't need any extra cables other than what is included in my retrofit and you don't need a new dash).

The kit includes (I will probably forget some of the things included):
- CIC monitor
- CIC unit
- The miscellaneous cables to hook everything up
- CIC controller/knob
- The face plate thing / radio buttons
And the extras:
- 6FL (USB in arm rest)
- Combox Media
- 6NR ConnectedDrive
- 2011 maps
- And best of all, Patryk will code everything needed for you to make it work.

The only thing you need to make this work for your vehicle is to order OEM FSC activation codes, or to get the hardware activation. Both of these you can get from Patryk. I went the OEM route and now am losing out on it

Price is $3,000 shipped with paypal gift, e-check, money order. I am local in the bay area (Berkeley) for those of you who want to pick it up.

Hi Sourphish,

I am really keen to fit this onto my 6 series (its an E63 right hand drive and Patryk has told me that the CIC will fit) but I am wondering if this unit for E90 will fit an E60x... Can you confirm this?

I'm not sure if it fits or not. I'm sure the CIC box/unit will fit, but the screen may be different. I'm not too familiar with the e6x platform. Sorry I can't be of more help.

And welcome! I'm part Malaysian too, and one of my roommates is Malaysian (and oddly enough, we share the same last name haha)

I have been in touch with Patryk before on fitting a new CiC for my E63 but then I am still contemplating the cost factor..

Perhaps once you send me an email,I can then drop an email to patryk (with you in the loop) and see if this unit can be fitted for my car and if yes, then can he can code and activate this unit for my car?

If he says 'YES' to all these, then I will get this unit from you!

Actually I am glad you're from Berkeley! Cause I got loads of friends and family around the Bay Area... So payment and collection would be a breeze! They can collect the unit and hand deliver it to me when they come to Malaysia next...!

So am eagerly awaiting your email!

What do i need above and beyond if i have a 328I 08 with no idrive and no nav?

I'm not exactly sure, but you will definitely need the double hump dash, a trim to fit the i-drive knob/controller, coding, and I think another harness. There's a large thread about it somewhere here.
