** Active Autowerke 335 Base Dyno #'s vs. Active Autowerke Programmed Xede Processor*
Hello Board,
We were able to go out to our Mustang Dyno this Morning and retrieve some info that you guys requested. The #'s were done on our 6mt. Once again these were done in 94+ degree conditions with the extreme humidity and all that good stuff. Once again thanks for all your support. p.s. We have done a couple autos with higher #'s, should be able to get those charts up next week. 65.328 rwhp gain
107.246 rwtq gain over stock with overall richer AFRs. Looks pretty good to me. Still curious as to how much boost was used. |

i thought the dyno with xede was from a dynojet...kinda strange how the curves with xede don't mirror stock, kinda like Procede does

Mustang dyno just reads LOWER then Dynojet.
Good gains, but I would never allowed the tuned AFR to be THAT LEAN . 12.1:1 would be as lean as I would go on FI vehicle and tuning the AFR between 11.5-11.9:1 at WOT. My 0.02 |

I think its impossible to say. The 335 is direct injected, so if it makes power at 12.5:1 and can take enough timing, its a non-issue. The factory setup runs as lean as 15:1 @ WOT.

Most FI Big turbo cars run at 11.5-12.0 on pump gas and then around 12.5 on race gas. We have been tuning Turbo cars and SCed cars for quite some time now. We also tune a lot of FI cars for other companies, I know it sounds like a cheasy add but we have some of the industries best tuners here and they are using all their resources for this car to make everything perfect for you guys. .

What i find interesting... in this thread and past AA threads people have asked if they had exhaust on the car... with no answer.

Both charts are form the same vehicle, dyno runs were made back to back to keep conditions and all other variables as close as posible. The tuner exhuast was installed during those runs. |

I'm having a hard time believing these dyno's from aa. The first one they showed was reading on the high side on a dynojet w/o baseline's. Everyone asks for mustang dyno, and now they read lower numbers, but with a lower baseline dyno then I've ever seen before, especially at such a low altitude, obviously showing a bigger gain then anything else has. It's just a little fishy. My car baselined at 280 whp on a mustang at 4200 ft. on 91 shell.

I do not know what is so hard to comprehend. The setup is not rocket science and when it comes to tuning we know what we are doing. It comes down to a difference of wether or not you prefer McDonals or Burger King. It just happens that the whopper is cheaper right now and it taste the same... I guess that makes us Burger King. |

It makes more sense if you have a catback. The gains that is, and if your running 93 octane. I'm absolutely postive you guys know what your doing when it comes to tuning. I agree it's not rocket science, which is exactly why seeing bigger gains then usual, doesn't make sense. Now, why don't you come out with a full turboback for 2500!!!!!!!!! So I can buy one already. |
