$2100
Most 162's have been going for around $1400 including tires. If you would come down more in price, you would get some offers. People can get those wheels and tires brand spanking new for less than that... No offense, but I sure hope some people do not go for that price. Thats a little rediculous... |

With all due respect, and I'm new to this forum; you say that the wheels and tires can be bought for less than $2150. The tires alone cost $1100...here is the info direct from Tire Rack.com :
Sidewall: Blackwall Front: 225/40WR18 RunFlat Serv. Desc: 88W Price: $245.00 Rear: 255/35WR18 RunFlat Serv. Desc: 90W Price: $307.00 The best price I've seen on the wheels so far was $1600 and that was for "take-offs" from a discount place. Who knows how many miles were on them? On eBay, sellers have consistinently getting close to $2000 for wheels alone. |

you can buy the wheels for $1400 brand new and shipped from bmwwheels.com. Yes the tires as a stand alone item are that cost. If you bought them as a package from one of the many online resources, it can be had for much less than $2100.
Your wheels and tires are just like your car. As soon as you take ownership of them, they do lose value. The fact that you are asking for full price of new wheels and tires is a little off base. People on this forum have sold their 162's with very few miles on it and tires for $1400. $700 more than that is quite a bit pricey, and I hope people here do not pay for it... |

Throw your hands in the air, if you's a true playa.

2100 is on the high side for the 162 set. at that price point, they're simply not worth the hassel of buying used. Go buy a new set.

I, along with many others on this forum, would consider buying used if that price came down some... Otherwise, Id rather go CSL rims brand new for the same price (1400)...
