My car is a 2008 335i.was never updated.think it had originally the 29.2. Now on 08/11/11 my car was updated to the newest dme software.also all 6 injectors & hpfp was replaced under the campaign recall.I asked what's the latest version & changes but they seemed to have dodged the question.anyone know the latest version?and changes?

Latest version should be 2.43. Hold your DTC button for few seconds to see if you get different DSC disabled symbol instead of Triangle inside the circle. It might only apply to newer model 3 series but try it to see if you get different DSC symbol. I'm curious to know what are the benefits of getting newest DME software, especially running with PROceed. My dealer quote me 3 hour labor since my VIN isn't in their recall list. Anyone care to share experience if it's worth to do the update? My SA also told me there's a chance it might/could fail the DME update so could cost me couple thousand dollars since I am out of warranty.

I got the latest version software about a month ago.
I've only noticed one change so far...
Previously when using GPS navi, it would automatically reroute based on traffic conditions. Now it asks me if I would like to reroute or not.

What year is your E9x? What does DSC symbol looks like?

DSC symbol is still the semicircle with triangle in it.
I def got a complete reprog DME, I lost all my codings (euro lights, key fob mirrors windows, etc...)

Other then the GPS change I really havent noticed any other difference with the reprog.
