Help with places to live in North NJ
So I am moving back north, after years away I am back in NYC and looking for a new place to live.
I am most likely going back to Hoboken, but any other suggestions that are close (like really close, Weehawkin, West NY, etc) would be appreciated. So Hoboken people, what are some of the nice apartments, I do not care about being close to Washington, prefer not to be in the middle of the party anyway. Here are the must haves, PARKING, I said if ever lived in HB again I would never do it without parking. Preferably underground and in the building I am living in. Washer/Dryer in unit, prefer 2 bed 2 bath, could get away with a very large 1 bedroom. Max rent I want to pay is $3500 a month, but for that it has to be really nice, I prefer to stay around $2800-$3000. Ok shoot!

My fiance lives in West ny, it is nice but lacks the feel/atmosphere of hoboken. We are going to probably move to summit or somewhere around there and she will commute into NYC. Hoboken is cool but parking is a nightmare, even in the garages, the spots are so close together its rediculous.

+1, I was going to move there when I got an offer, but decided to stay put in PA. Almost put a sec. deposit down at Rivers Edge apts which seemed pretty nice at the time. Don't remember the parking situation but I think they had a garage. The convenience of getting to the 8 min ferry via a short walk was what made me look to that area (I'm not a fan of Hoboken/JC).
