Winter tires for OEM 18 rims...

I have the Stock 18’’ 189 style – OEM rims, which I would like to get winter tires for...

The front tires are 225/40 and the rears are 255/35

For winter tires on these rims: can I fit 225/40s on all four of the rims? Or do I need to get 255/35 tires for the rear???

Thanks

225/40's can work all the way around for a winter setup.

Yes, you can use 225/40R18 on both the front 8" wheels and the rear 8.5" OE wheels with no problem. This is actually very common to do. Eliminating the stagger in this way works very well for winter and results in better winter traction.

Thanks guys!

I appreciate it.

I am going to use the stock 18's and put winters on them (225/40s all 4)

Since I need winters and I can buy a package deal and get the 18'' 313 replicas, and use the runflat tires on those -- i think its the most efficent use of my $$$
