Charge pipe leak?

I had some problems driving on the highway last night where I was losing boost in 5th and 6th gear (6mt). My 335i has an ETS FMIC, AR 3" Dps and JB4 map 5 running at approx 15psi.

If I went WOT in 5th and 6th, it would only reach 8psi on the in dash boost gauge. Dropping the car back into 3rd or 4th would eventually bring the boost back to the usual levels, as did 5 minutes of ordinary driving. I also had a CEL once when giving WOT in 5th but it had gone before I pulled over.

Anyway I removed the charge pipe and could see the following:

I could see actual liquid oil on the joint which isn't too clear in the pictures. My assumption is that when the engine bay gets hot, I get a leak in the charge pipe due to the soft rubber material. I don't have any problems in normal driving, only after driving for a long period of time.

Has anyone else had a CP leak like the above only when the engine bay is hot? Would the best option to go with an aftermarket chargepipe with standard DVs?
