Should I take the plunge and make a hole?
I am thinking of fitting an LED iluminated BMW bonnet logo but it involve drilling a small hole Please have a look at the kit and let me have your thoughts on the kit and how to drill the hole and prvent it rusting and chaffing the cable Thanks,
Rated voltage: 12 V Color temperature: 6000 Kelvin reflected beam angles: 120 ° Life span: 50 000h Hrs More info available if wanted, Kev.

If that's the route you really want to go down...
Drilling a hole behind the badge will be a piece of piss, and you can buy rubber grommets from Maplin or Screwfix to protect the wire. Where you connect the kit to is another matter though, the CANBUS network could cause you a few headaches.

I disagree with that, while I drive a BMW what he does effects the way people look at me too, every time a BMW gets Chav'd up we all get laughed at more, our cars get less desirable, and we ended not only looking like cunts as well but also loosing money come resale.
So, you may think a Halfords bought BMW badge that lights up like your mothers whore house sign is fine, but seriously, think of the bigger picture.....think of the children!!!!! |
