How many people have opened their Xenon?
How many of you have opened up your Xenon headlight, to paint the amber in silver? I want to know how many people it worked for and how many it didn’t?
I searched Thanks

3 or 4 of us have posted either trying or doing it. You would need a heat gun, screwdrivers, plenty of patience, and a lot of elbow grease.

I'm afraid to do it, you could end up with moisture inside the headlight.. or maybe damage it in the process of opening them up.. be tough to get it covered under warranty.
Long tran did the right thing in getting the halogen set for practice. |

I opened it. it takes about 2-3 hours per side. Its a pain to get it clean and back together too though.
BE Carefull NOT to Break the Angel EYES! Unclip them from the back of the headlight first!!! i broke the first one i opened. then almost ruined the second i opened as well. also DO NOT Touch The Chrome Pieces Inside the Headlight!!! |
