Hi,
I was wondering what type of bhp gain would i be looking at for my e90 320d m sport 163 with a 335i exhaust conversion, blow off dump valve and custom remap??

or if it works better a chip instead of a remap from chip express which says a 30bhp gain anyway with no mods such as the exhaust and dump valve

Remap alone should give around 40Bhp. Not sure the other mods would make a grea deal of difference.

Don't do the dump valve mate, that would seriously chav up what was a nice Car.

Also making it a 335i replica is not the coolest thing going either.

Re-map from a reputable company should see your car 200+BHP

Dump valve will not add 1 BHP, but will make it Chavtastic as Carlos says........

190+ on that spec if engine in good condition.

I would also look at this exhaust system I have a friend who says his gained 20bhp after fitting.

A vta dump valve will spoil the smooth running of your car.
I had one for a short time on an impreza and it caused no end of problems-despite a remap after every individual mod.I quickly changed back to a recirculating type.
If you're determined to fit a vta,get it remapped properly.

ive decided for the 335i exhaust as originally planned no dump valve and a custom remap from a specialist firm such as chip express

For most output a custom exhaust with no silencers is the only way to go
